Loves Rubberstamps - Coffee, Tea or Favourite Beverage

Hey there lovely blog buddies. Today is my hubby's birthday, so I am swinging in here very quickly to tell you about our latest challenge that goes live today on the Loves Rubberstamps Blog! Our lovely Holly has chosen the theme this week and she would like to see all your stamps and papers that have anything to do with 'Coffee, Tea or another Favourite Beverage'. How cool is that?! Very I think.

I have used a gorgeous Elisabeth Bell image called Willow with Hot Chocolate for today's creation. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and she's coloured in Alcohol Ink. I love this sweet image, the pose she's in is just so sweet and relaxed and I can almost feel how comforting that warm drink must be on a cold day just from looking at it!

I've made this up for my daughter's best childhood friend from England, who now lives in Switzerland. She's become quite the ski bunny, so I thought this would be a really sweet Christmas card to send to her. The papers were a gift from issue 120 of Papercraft Inspirations. They're called Gingerbread Lane by Jenny Ellory and fit this sweet scene so well. I've lifted the image off the paper with a double layer of Foam Pads for some extra dimension. I love this effect!

This card, is all about the fishtails! I've used Die-namics Fishtail Flag Layers Stax Die set to cut the fishtail panels for the image and behind. I've also cut a smaller one to use as the sentiment tab. Which I've kept loose, so the full sentiment can be read when pulled out. Obscured, it reads 'Special Friend, at Christmas'.

I've edged all the backing papers with Memento Ink in New Sprout. CAS design, but I love the simple finish. I hope you enjoyed seeing my crafty make today. Do pop on over to the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge to check out what the rest of the amazing DT have been up to there. They're such a talented crew and  you're sure to leave inspired! Come join us for the challenge this week too. See you again soon, right now though, I'm off to celebrate the hubby. Hugs, Wends x
