Looking back on 2013...
Hard to believe we are almost half way through January and I've not done my first post of the New Year yet! I've been all consumed by our house shift. It's been all a bit of a drama! Being given notice a week or so before Christmas really does tend to put one's tail in a spin. But we have not only managed to find a nice new home in record time, we've completed the move, handed over the keys for the old place and we've managed to stay in our old neighbourhood too, which was rather important to us, so as not to throw another big change in the mix for Georgie.
Georgie really likes her new school and has settled really well there after our shift from the UK earlier in 2013, so I really wanted to stay local if possible. So we're now looking forward to the next chapter in 2014 of our New Zealand journey. I've had no time to craft these past few weeks, but last night my hubby helped me make up my new craft desk, so I now have a little spot to work from and hope is rising that I might actually get a few crafty minutes in this week! For now, I wanted to wish you all a wonderful New Year and a 2014 filled with great love, great joy, great fun and lots of fabulous crafty adventures! I thought I'd start my New Year in crafting, by looking back over some of my favourite makes of 2013. I note that many of my crafty pals have been doing Top 5's and Top 10's, but as there are 12 months in the year, my year in review, will have a Top 12. Thanks for indulging me and I hope you'll come back soon to see what I get up to 2014!

So there it is, my year in review. My favourite 12, though I'm really happy with loads of my cards this year. It's been a very creative and fun year exploring my love of all things paper crafty and I'm looking forward to getting my craft space set up in our new home and having lots more time for crafting this year. Just what you need before Christmas...to be told you have to move out! What awful timing, and even more so when you have two excited children added into the mix. But sometimes these things turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Wishing you years of love and laughter in your new home...and Happy 20th Anniversary!! It's our 20th later this year but somehow I can't imagine my hubby will write such a beautiful FB post!
